Contrary to the traditional gravity filters, for which the filtering surface is developed on a flat surface, these cleaners use a high hydrostatic head system which considerably improves the filtering capacity.
Compared to the usual flat gravity filters with the same flow rate to be treated, the hydrostatic systems dimensions are substantially lower and better degrees of filtration are achiavable, thus reducing the filtering fabric consumption.
